Please join us for this moving program of remembrance and hope and to honor the memory of six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.

On Sunday, May 5, at 7 pm, we will meet in the Andrew Levin Park to bury the names of children lost in the Holocaust.  May they rest peacefully.  The ceremony will be at 7 pm both in person and on Zoom.

At 7:30 pm, we will join congregants, guests, and members of three other synagogues to light our yellow candles together in a communal remembrance of The Six Million.

Rabbi Gadi of Congregation of Tifereth Israel, Rabbi Barbara Sheryll of the North Fork Reform Synagogue, and Rabbi Margie Cella of the Jewish Center of the Moriches will lead the ceremony.  Following the ceremony, Leah Friedman will read a play she has written that reveals a personal Yom HaShoah story.

Let us remember the past while we celebrate life – life that assures the future of Judaism here in our neighborhoods and the world over. We welcome and appreciate your support of our efforts in the Shoah commemoration.
