Membership in the North Fork Reform Synagogue grants us the opportunity to grow spiritually and intellectually, enrich our Jewish identity, and engage in meaningful acts of social justice. As the North Fork’s Jewish Reform Synagogue we share holidays and joyous occasions, and count on our caring community for support in times of need – all while making lifelong friends. We encourage the ideas and involvement of our congregants promoting opportunities to address you and your family in meaningful ways. As stated by Reform Judaism, “A synagogue is a special place because it nurtures three things that Jews have sought for themselves and their families, three things that infuse life with a sense of meaning and fulfillment: community, learning and spirituality.” It is the mission of The North Fork Reform Synagogue to provide community, learning and spirituality to the east end of Long Island. Consequently our dues are extremely modest with no building fund. A quick look at this website illustrates our commitment to stimulating, enriching and entertaining programming. Our Hebrew School provides Jewish learning opportunities for our children as do our adult education sessions that complement our twice monthly Shabbat services. Spiritually, our Shabbat services and holiday observances, led by our student rabbi and periodically enriched by our cantor, provide the opportunity to unwind and reflect after a busy week in a comfortable, welcoming and familiar environment with old and new friends. Two ways we take advantage of the uniqueness of the North Fork is by holding our congregant led summer Shabbat services on the beach which typically conclude with a vibrant sunset over Long Island Sound, and our main annual fundraising event, the amazing North Fork Foodie Tour which promotes the agricultural bounty of our community.

Please consider joining us for any of our regular or special events so that you and your family can experience first hand the benefits of membership in the North Fork Reform Synagogue. Information on membership is listed on this website and any of us would be happy to discuss Synagogue membership with you.
