Breakfast with the Rabbi
February 28 @ 9:15 am - 10:30 am
Please note that as of Friday, the parking lot had been plowed, but the entrance closer to Rt. 25 was not plowed, so you may have to enter via the lane usually used to exit.
Rabbi David Levy will lead us in a discussion about the meaning of “Kosher”.
“If you haven’t come to any of these breakfasts please attend. Rabbis Debra Bennet and David Levy have made these meetings especially interesting and informative prompting considerable discussion on a wide range of subjects including gratitude (for Thanksgiving); origins of Chanukah, anger {not related to Chanukah}; the Tower of Babel and the power of language.”
“I attended my first Breakfast with the Rabbi and it was a lot of fun. We had a dynamic discussion about the word “enough” where everyone had the opportunity to share their thoughts. Rabbi Levy provided a few short readings on the topic, including one by Kurt Vonnegut, which enhanced the conversation. What I liked most was hearing different perspectives, getting to know fellow members and making connections. I highly recommend it to start off your Saturday.”
“As a new member I am enjoying Breakfast with the Rabbi on Saturday mornings. I enjoy connecting with members and wisdom offered by the Rabbi. It is a great way to get my mind, heart and soul recharged.”
