North Fork Reform Synagogue began in 1992 with a tiny group of founding members. They ran an ad inviting anyone interested in starting a Reform Synagogue to attend a meeting. A surprising number of us did. As we are celebrating our 28th anniversary, we are welcoming the fourth generation into our special congregation.
Previously unaffiliated members have joined NFRS to enjoy the intellectual and cultural stimulation offered in its services and programs. Our congregation invites participation, challenging thought, stimulating ideas, new concepts, quiet introspection and reflection.
Our members are active in a wide spectrum of social action activities that enrich and enlighten our community and our world. Drop in for a service or event and experience the exceptional warmth and friendship. You’ll want to return.
